Today was a flurry of activity! Here are the highlights~!
First, we finished our research on Mount Rushmore. We generated research questions and took notes yesterday. Today we used our notes to write a paragraph. It was so fascinating to learn about something that is so close to us and is so important!
This afternoon we worked on some geometric coloring designs. First we decided on using warm or cool colors. Then we picked our shape design. There were triangles, circles, trapezoids, heart and mittens designs. The rule was the trickiest part. The rule was shapes with the same color could not be touching. It was kind of like doing a puzzle, you had to start in one corner and work your way across the page. Everyone worked really hard and they turned out well! They are very beautiful!
Last, we got ready for Winter Bingo! We made our own Bingo cards!
