Today in Library we learned about the Caldecott Medal. This award is given to books that have excellent illustrations. Many books have won the gold medal or silver medals over the years. The silver medals represent the honor books. Ask your child what he/she remembers about this award.
Ms. Z read us the winner from this year! It was a biography about a famous artist.
These were the honor books from this year!
These kids sure do love good books and love to read!
