Door Decorating Contest
This month is I Love to Read month. As a school we had a door decorating contest. Each classroom was asked to pick their favorite book and the decorate their door to represent the book. We picked the book The Day the Crayons Quit by Drew Daywalt illustrated by Oliver Jeffers. It is very funny!
We each made a crayon person with legs, arms and eyes. We wrote a letter to our crayon telling them why we need them in our crayon box.
We will have the chance to take a tour of the building to see all of the doors and how they are decorated! What a fun activity!

Today we ...
Today started with an amazing performance by Cantus. They sang five songs all without instruments just their voices. The 9 men are from all over the United States and travel to all parts of the world. We were a great audience and enjoyed the performance.
