Today we had a science lesson that was a combination of balance and motion. Today we built tops or spinners. Using a straw, two small discs and two large discs we experimented with how to make a top that is stable and spins well. We had lots of fun figuring out how to make the best top.
We learned that the position of the dics makes a difference as well as the amount of discs. Ask your child what he/she learned.
