Today we went to Como Conservatory and Zoo! Yes, it was rainy, but we made the best of it.
First we had a chance to explore the zoo. Many groups saw most of the animals. They were quite active this morning. Ask you child about the animals he/she saw.

Next we went to the Plants that Care class. We learned about how plants help us along with some interesting facts about plants. We got to play a game!
We also made bath salts. We used epsom salt and added lavender, eucalyptus and peppermint to make the bath salts.
Last we did a scavenger hunt through the North garden. We looked for many different plants and noted what they provide for us. We also looked for plants of various colors. Ask your child about his/her favorite part.
It was a fantastic trip!
